My husband and I had occasion to be in Coldspring a couple weeks ago at lunch time. We visited The Hop and we're impressed to enjoy a delicious, freshly made burger with fries. Definitely not a fast food burger, but large and juicy freshly cooked. And the fries were so crispy and good. Will definitely return if we're in the area.
It was raining at our campsite so we decided to find a place in town to wait out the storm. The staff was extremely friendly and patient with us and answered all our questions. We all had shakes and burgers with fries, onion rings, & tots, and everything was delicious! I highly recommend!
To the OWNER: thank you for working so hard to keep really good prices and great counter girls. Never been here before but discovered you on the way from lake conroe to shreveport. The service was amazing from both the ladies who served me on a togo order. I didnt catch the names (a young lass and one who has been with you 17 years) but they really made my experience extra special. I was blown away how they helped a senior man with his order, and then ran around the counter to open the door for his way out. Youve got some great people, great food, and great prices. I hope you know we appreciate the efforts to do so! If I ever come back to Texas, I will see you again!
